We put the Brown’s mix in our tray feeder and also in a hanging “squirrel proof” feeder. During the winter I’ve been supplementing this already good blend with cranberies and suet for the bluebird residents of our yard and a lone robin who wintered with us. We like the generous amount of peanuts and fruits in the mix that attracts cardinals and woodpeckers to the tray feeder. To attract a variety of birds to your yard I’d recommend using a blend such as this instead of offering a seed only mix.
